Your store, answering for itself.
Connect Shopify and your AI support agent works from real store data. It answers from your live catalog, finds a shopper's own order once they prove the email on it, tracks refunds and returns, and completes the changes you allow — while a person picks up everything else.

Catalog intelligence
Let shoppers ask the way they actually talk.
Nobody searches like a database. Voxe reads the intent behind the question, queries the products you publish to your online store, and answers with the variants that genuinely exist.
Understands loose intent
An occasion and a budget is enough. Voxe narrows your catalog instead of dumping a collection page on the shopper.
Variant-aware
Sizes, colours and options come from the product itself, so the answer matches what a shopper can actually add to a cart.
No verification needed
Catalog questions are open. Nobody has to prove anything to browse, so the conversation stays quick.

Where is my order?

Order #1044
Placed 4 March
- Linen Blazer — Sand / M1 × $128.00
- Panama Hat — Natural1 × $54.00
- Order placed
- Payment captured
- Fulfilled
Paid · Unfulfilled
A connected app normally sees about the last 60 days of orders. Older ones need separate Shopify-approved access, and Voxe says so rather than guessing.
Order intelligence
“Where is my order?”, answered properly.
The most common question in ecommerce support is also the easiest to get wrong. Voxe answers it from the actual order, and only for the person who can prove the order is theirs.
The chat email is never proof
A six-digit code goes to the address on the order and is entered on a secure Voxe page, never typed into chat.
Refund and return status too
Two more read-only tools answer “was my refund created?” and “where is my return?” from the same verified order.
Honest about what it sees
A refund record is never presented as money arriving in a bank account, and an unfulfilled order is never given a delivery estimate.
Protected actions
It can change the order. Under your rules, not on request.
Asking politely in a chat window is not authorisation. Every action walks the same path, and any step that cannot be established ends the automation instead of the order.
I moved last week. Can you update the shipping address on my order?
Verify the shopper
Find their order
Check fulfillment state
Secure confirmation
Recheck before writing
Update and read back
Shipping address updated on order #1044
Unfulfilled, at one of your own locations, with nothing submitted to a fulfillment service. Voxe rechecked the fulfillment state immediately before writing, then read the saved address back from Shopify to confirm the match.
Every protected action needs a verified shopper, an eligible order, a secure confirmation, and a fresh recheck immediately before the write. Bank settlement is never claimed.

AI and people
Automation while it works. A person the moment it should not.
The handoff is the part most tools get wrong. In Voxe the shopper never starts again: the same thread continues, and your teammate opens it with everything already attached.
Asking for a person always works
No loops, no insisting the bot tries again. An explicit request is honoured immediately.
Uncertainty escalates, it does not retry
If Voxe cannot confirm an outcome, the conversation goes to your team rather than risking a second write.
One inbox, one history
Your team works the same conversation the AI did, in the Voxe helpdesk, with nothing to reconstruct.

Merchant control
Your AI does not decide its own permissions. You do.
Your custom app decides what Voxe can reach in Shopify. Your action rules decide what it may do with it — and address changes and cancellations will not run at all until you confirm the pre-fulfillment requirement.
Order age accepts 1 to 2160 hours. Address changes and cancellations do not execute unless the merchant-managed, unfulfilled-orders-only requirement is checked. Your settings can narrow automation further — never widen it past the checks Voxe already requires.

Shopify action automation
Address changes
Only while Shopify still shows the order unfulfilled at your own locations.
Cancellations
Cancels a fully paid pre-fulfillment order, with restock, notification and refund.
Return requests
Submits a request for one fulfilled item. You approve or decline it in Shopify.
Full monetary refund
Refunds the current order total to the original payment method.
Example values from the real settings. Nothing runs until you switch it on.
Eight tools. You pick which ones exist.
Each one is switched on per store and backed by the Shopify permissions you grant your custom app. The protected ones need a rule as well.

Active products published to the online store, with variants, base prices and availability.

Two read-only tools. Neither can create, approve or refund anything, and a refund record is not settlement.
VerifiedRead onlyChange verified Shopify shipping address
Pre-fulfillment, at your own locations only. Never a carrier label or a shipment in transit.

Paid, pre-fulfillment orders inside your limit. Restocks, notifies and refunds the original payment.

The full current order total to the original payment. No partial or item-level refunds, no restock.

One fulfilled item and quantity, as a request. Your team still approves or declines it in Shopify.

Always on
What it will not do
- A return request is a request. Your team approves or declines it in Shopify, and it is not a refund.
- Address changes and cancellations stop the moment an order is with a fulfillment service or fulfillment has started.
- No carrier labels are edited, no shipment is rerouted, and no saved account address is changed.
- Refunds are the full current order total only — no partial or item-level refunds, and no restock on refund.
- A refund record is not proof that funds reached a bank or card account.
- Voxe connects through your own Shopify custom app. It is not a Shopify App Store listing.
Shopify questions, answered
What can Voxe access in my store?
Only the tools you enable, and only within the Admin API permissions you grant your own custom app: published products, a verified shopper's own orders, and refund or return status if you enable those reads. Protected actions additionally need their own rule. Voxe has no customer-directory or account-profile access.
Does the customer have to prove who they are?
For anything order-specific, yes. Voxe emails a six-digit code to the address on the order and the shopper enters it on a secure Voxe page. The email in the chat window is never accepted as proof, and codes are never requested in chat.
Can Voxe change, cancel or refund an order?
Only the actions you enable, and only while the order still qualifies. Address changes and cancellations run before fulfillment starts at your own locations; refunds are full refunds of the order total within your limits. Each needs a verified shopper, a secure confirmation, and a fresh recheck of Shopify immediately before the write.
Does a return request mean the return is approved?
No. Voxe submits a request for one fulfilled item and quantity with the shopper's reason, and its status is requested. Your team still approves or declines it in Shopify. No refund is issued, no return label is created and nothing is restocked.
What happens when it cannot safely finish?
It stops and hands the conversation to a person with the full context. It does not retry a risky write. Cancellation is reported as submitted until Shopify confirms the order is cancelled, and an uncertain outcome is flagged for your team rather than announced as done.
Does this replace my support team?
No. Voxe handles the repeatable work and escalates the rest into the same helpdesk your team already uses, with the verified mailbox, the order and the whole thread attached. An explicit request for a person is always honoured.
How do I connect my store?
Create a Shopify custom app with the Admin API permissions your chosen tools need, install it, then add the store domain, access token and app secret key in Dashboard → Integrations → Business Data. Pick your tools and enable a rule for each protected action. The setup guide lists the exact permission sets per tool.
