How to Set Up Two-Factor Authentication
Add an extra layer of security to your VoxeDesk account with TOTP-based 2FA
Two-factor authentication (2FA) adds a second verification step at login, protecting your account even if your password is compromised. VoxeDesk uses time-based one-time passwords (TOTP) — compatible with Google Authenticator, Authy, 1Password, and most authenticator apps.
Before you start
Install an authenticator app on your phone if you don't already have one. Google Authenticator, Authy, and 1Password all work.
How to enable 2FA
- Go to Dashboard → Profile
- Scroll to the Security section and click Set up two-factor authentication
- A QR code appears on screen — scan it with your authenticator app
- Your app will show a 6-digit code that refreshes every 30 seconds
- Enter that code in VoxeDesk to confirm setup
- 2FA is now active on your account
Logging in with 2FA
After enabling 2FA, logging in requires two steps:
- Enter your email and password as usual
- Open your authenticator app, copy the current 6-digit code, and enter it when prompted
If you lose access to your authenticator app
Contact VoxeDesk support from the email address associated with your account. Include your account email and a description of the issue. Support can help you disable 2FA after verifying your identity.
