How to View Workflow Logs

Diagnose workflow errors and unexpected behavior using execution logs

Workflow logs record every execution and are the fastest way to understand what went wrong when the AI behaves unexpectedly or a workflow shows an ERROR status.

How to open the logs

  1. Go to Dashboard → Workflows
  2. Open the workflow you want to investigate
  3. Click View Logs

Each log entry shows a timestamp, execution status, and any error output.

What to look for

  • Repeated errors at the same step — usually points to a misconfigured integration credential or a missing knowledge base link. Check the specific step mentioned in the error.
  • Successful executions with no AI reply — verify the workflow status is ACTIVE and the connected Help Desk inbox is receiving messages correctly.
  • Error codes from external services (e.g. Shopify, HubSpot, Google Calendar) — the API credential for that integration has likely expired or been revoked. Go to Dashboard → Integrations and update or re-authenticate the connection.
  • Slow execution times — may indicate heavy retrieval load. Consider reducing the retrieval limit or splitting large knowledge bases into smaller, focused libraries.

After reviewing logs

If the issue is clear from the logs, fix the underlying problem (re-authenticate an integration, re-link a knowledge base, etc.) and then Restart the workflow to resume normal operation.

If the logs don't give you enough information, copy the relevant error text and include it when contacting support.
