My Calendar Integration Isn't Working

Fix common Google Calendar connection and scheduling errors

No available time slots are returned to customers

This happens when the AI can't find open slots. Check each of the following:

  • Business hours are configured correctly. Open your calendar integration settings and verify you've set available days and hours. If business hours are empty, the AI has no slots to offer.
  • The requested date is within your "days ahead" window. If you've set a 7-day booking window, customers can't book more than a week out.
  • Max bookings per day hasn't been reached. If you set a daily limit and it's been hit, no more slots will be offered for that day.
  • The calendar itself is free. If your Google Calendar already has events filling the available slots, there's nothing to offer. Check the calendar directly.

"Google Calendar API has not been enabled" error (403)

  1. Go to the [Google Cloud Console](https://console.cloud.google.com)
  2. Select the project associated with your Google account
  3. Navigate to APIs & Services → Library
  4. Search for "Google Calendar API" and click Enable
  5. Return to VoxeDesk and reconnect the calendar integration

Schema or configuration validation error

If the integration saves but the workflow logs show a schema validation error:

  • Check that all required scheduling settings have valid values (no blanks where numbers are expected)
  • Ensure timezone is set and matches a valid timezone name
  • Save the calendar integration settings again, then restart the workflow

Bookings aren't appearing on my Google Calendar

  • Confirm the OAuth was authorized with the Google account that owns the target calendar, not a secondary account
  • Check that VoxeDesk was granted write permissions during the OAuth flow. If only read access was granted, reconnect the calendar and approve all requested permissions.
