My AI Doesn't Know What Page the Visitor Is On
Fix Smart Page Context when the AI isn't using page information
If your AI isn't responding differently based on which page a visitor is viewing, work through these checks.
1. Confirm Smart Page Context is enabled
Go to Dashboard → Integrations → Chat Widget Script, select the support chat, and check that the Smart Page Context toggle is on. If it's greyed out, your plan doesn't include Smart Page Context — it requires BUSINESS, ENTERPRISE, or an active trial.
2. Re-copy and re-publish the embed script
Smart Page Context is built into the Chat Widget Script. If you enabled it after pasting the original script, you need to copy the updated script and replace the old one on your website. The live widget only includes page context if the script was copied after enabling the feature.
3. Confirm at least one context field is checked
Inside the Smart Page Context settings, make sure at least one field is checked. If all fields are unchecked, no context is sent even if the toggle is on.
4. Check your plan
- STARTER and TEAM do not include Smart Page Context
- Upgrade to BUSINESS or ENTERPRISE, or use an active trial, to enable this feature
