I See a "Help Desk Required" Error

Fix the "Help Desk required" error that appears when creating a support chat on paid plans

On paid plans (STARTER and above), VoxeDesk requires a connected Help Desk before you can create a new support chat or activate an agent workflow. This ensures conversations have somewhere to go when the AI escalates to a human.

What triggers this error

You'll see a "Help Desk required" or similar message when:

  • You're on a paid plan and haven't connected a Help Desk yet
  • Your existing Help Desk integration was deleted or disconnected

How to fix it

  1. Go to Dashboard → Integrations → Add Integration → Help Desk Setup
  2. Either create a VoxeDesk managed Help Desk (click Create Voxe Help Desk) or connect your own existing Help Desk
  3. Wait for the connection to confirm — a green status or "Connected" indicator means it's ready
  4. Return to the support chat creation flow and try again

After connecting the Help Desk

Once the Help Desk is connected, the error will not appear again for new support chats — unless the Help Desk integration is deleted later.
